Why hello there all my dear friends and such.
It sure has been a long time, hasnt it? What, four days or so? Anyways, I apologize for the lack of comics and, for that matter, for the lack of replies. My internet, it seems, decided to stop functioning around two oclock in the morning on Friday, right while I was talking to some people. Again, I apologize for that quite a bit. I must have seemed quite rude for just vanishing. So, once that occurred, I went to bed, assuming it would all be better in the morning. I actually woke up with the plot for a story, so it was a pretty fair trade in my opinion. But, back to my description of what occurred.
So, the router or something was out. They said nothing could be done until Monday. Today. Whatever. The first thing I thought, indeed, was, Hurray! A legitimate excuse for not drawing a comic! But then I realized that I wanted Esther to play Left 4 Dead and see the octopus on the sign and stuff
so. That sucked. Sorry about that too. But we had a good Christmas party anyways and baked cookies and watched movies, so that was fine.
Saturday was started off with a splash. Stupid. Sucky. Saturday. Swim meets. I hate you so much. Though, for once, it was really hot for a morning swim meet, and it felt good getting into the freezing water. The sunburn I got despite the sunscreen I put on was less nice. So, my mum was going to a baby shower and James and I decided we would go see Up before it goes out of theaters. Ok, I decided we should see it, but he was game enough. My dad hates movies like that, so I said that James and I would go alone, so we jumped into the car and were off. It was a really good movie and I cried at least three times during it. I always do that. So, once it was done, I said to James, It would be kinda lame just to go home now. He agreed and we thought about what there was for two teenagers to do with a car and money around there. We decided on a Revolving Museum. Which I failed to find. Since I failed so much, I decided we wouldnt go to the museum, but that we would instead drive over a creepy bridge, which spit us out at UMass Lowell. James, lets go to that comic book store. said I, and he set the GPS to bring us there. Only. It had gone out of business, which was really sad. He then decreed that there was another store like it only thirty, count them, thirty minutes away. I was like, Yeah, sure, lets do it! and off we drove again! Turns out it was a computer store. Oh well. I ended up browsing through an Indian clothing store, but I had to leave when I realized I was too white to be there and that I was making the lady nervous. By then it was getting late and the two of us were hungry. James also needed a hair cut by the way. Just to say that. So we decided to go into New Hampshire to Nashua and eat at this place where you can do Shabu Shabu, which we both love. I ended up driving the wrong way, but luckily that ended up bringing us to a SuperCuts, and James got his hair trimmed up nicely. I then managed to go around an evil circle of lights three times while trying to keep to the left, which was as annoying as anything. I finally got it right, and we ended up driving past the restaurant we wanted to eat at. I noticed that there was no parking and, being a fickle creature, suggested that we go to another restaurant that I totally knew the way to. James seemed luke-warm at most about the idea. Nevertheless, I merrily told him to turn off the GPS and started driving blindly around the downtown region of Nashua landing us in what seemed to be a dead-end street with empty brick buildings all around us. Looking to my dear brother, I said, Ok. Um. Lets just go back to that restaurant. Turns out we were .4 miles away from it. So, we had a delicious dinner together, which was only a little bit awkward because the waitress thought we were dating
>v> Seriously, James, stop looking so old. Then, I decreed that we needed ice-cream. We usually go to his one really good spot, but the GPS only had one spot that sounded like it in its records. Finally, after I almost killed the two of us by veering into another car on the highway (I swear, Im a really good driver. : D ) we got our sweet desert and I got to trap some guy in his car by parking just a smidgen too close.
Then, on Sunday, I did such a good job at reading in church that someone asked me to read at her mother-in-laws funeral on Wednesday. My family also had to drop James off at tennis camp in Amherst, and I got a robot pencil sharpener. <3 Then, some guy slid into the back of our car, leading me to be in my first accident ever. D:< I had a record going, buddy. Thanks for ruining it. No, I wasnt even driving. And we were stopped at a red light. He sorta
skidded into us? My mum was totally freaked out by it, though I was like, Wait, wut? Our back bumper got a bit of a crack in it, but besides that, the car seems fine. Then I went home and started writing a story. The end!
So, yeah, thats what I do without the internet. That and stare at strange mushrooms that look like death tulips in the rain. So. Yeah. I am back, guys. This is now longer than my story. Just letting you know. <3 Thank you for reading all about Ms busy week.
